According to a spokesperson for the Met Police, they received a call at 12:30pm reporting a collision between a car and a pedestrian at the junction of Haskard Road and Parsloes Road in Dagenham.
Police officers swiftly arrived at the scene, accompanied by paramedics from the London Ambulance Service.
The pedestrian, identified as a woman, was provided with immediate medical attention and subsequently transported to a hospital. As of now, an update on her condition is awaited.
The driver of the car involved in the collision stopped at the scene, and police inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
Local reports indicate that the road has been cordoned off, with a significant presence of police and ambulance personnel.
