999 Hoaxer sparks 5th emergency responce to property in Wootton

The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service has answered a fifth hoax call to a property in Wootton on the Island this evening. Appliances from Newport and Ryde and a special appliance from Newport were mobilised to St Edmunds Walk at around 9.45pm on Sunday evening following a 999 call. The attendance of the service marked a fifth call to the address in the past weeks costing thousands of pounds.
