In a distressing incident, a 13-year-old boy has been hospitalised following a stabbing that occurred in Crystal Palace. The incident took place on Beulah Hill, near the junction with Spurgeon Road, at approximately 5:30 pm on January 22.
Upon receiving reports of the incident, officers from the Metropolitan Police promptly arrived at the scene and discovered the injured boy. He was immediately provided with on-site medical attention before being transported to the hospital for further treatment. Fortunately, the injuries sustained by the young victim were assessed as non-life-threatening.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident. The Metropolitan Police is actively investigating the case, working to establish the circumstances surrounding the stabbing.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police issued the following statement: “Police are in Beulah Hill, junction with Spurgeon Road, after calls around 5:30pm on January 22 to reports of a stabbing. A 13-year-old boy was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital; his injuries are not being treated as life-threatening or life-changing. At this early stage, there have been no arrests. Police are working to establish what happened.”
