British Transport Police (BTP) have released CCTV images of a man they wish to identify in connection with a sexual assault at Southwick railway station earlier this year.

The incident occurred on Saturday, March 8, between 10.30pm and 11.40pm, when a woman was followed into the station by an unidentified man. The suspect engaged the victim in conversation before allegedly sexually assaulting her.

CCTV Appeal

BTP investigators have released CCTV stills of a man they believe could hold vital information in relation to the ongoing investigation.

A police spokesperson said:
“We are keen to speak to the man in these images as we believe he may be able to assist with our enquiries. We urge anyone who recognises him to come forward immediately.”
