Rail services have been suspended at Barnes Railway Station this morning after a person was struck by a train.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Station Road, Barnes, shortly after 7:15 AM following reports of the incident.
National Rail confirmed that all lines are currently at a standstill while emergency crews attend to the situation. Delays and cancellations are expected throughout the morning rush hour, impacting South Western Railway (SWR) services running between London Waterloo, Clapham Junction, Richmond, and Hounslow.
A National Rail spokesperson said:
“Emergency services are responding to an incident at Barnes Railway Station where a person has been struck by a train. All services through the station are currently halted.”
