Man Killed in Horror Train Crash at Canterbury Level Crossing

A tragic collision at St Dunstan’s Level Crossing near Canterbury West railway station left a man dead on Saturday afternoon. The smash happened just after 2.20pm, bringing the busy crossing to a standstill for hours as emergency crews rushed in.

Massive Emergency Response at Scene

Four police cars and two fire engines stormed the scene in a desperate bid to save the victim. Despite their efforts, the man was sadly pronounced dead at the crossing.

Death Not Treated as Suspicious, Police Say

“Officers responded with paramedics; however, sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene,” a British Transport Police spokesperson confirmed.

The victim, believed to be in his 50s, has been confirmed dead with no suspicious circumstances. Police are preparing a file for the coroner as investigations continue.
