Sixty firefighters battled fierce flames licking through the industrial unit. The factory was spewing a “significant amount of smoke” as the fire raged for over two hours. Fire crews finally got the blaze under control around 5.30am.
Major Traffic Chaos but No Injuries
Thankfully, no one was hurt. But the fire near the westbound A40 Western Avenue triggered heavy traffic delays. Dukes Road remains shut while crews continue their work.
