Fire Crews Called to House Collapse in Hampstead Ten People Evacuated

One fire engine and one fire rescue unit and 10 firefighters were called to house collapse on Sumatra Road in Hampstead. London Brigade have told us that There was a total collapse of the two storey property from the roof to basement level. Ten people were evacuated from neighbouring properties. There were no reports of any injuries. Firefighters have made the scene safe and are working with the local authority’s structural engineer. The Brigade was called at 1206 and the incident was over by 1446. Fire crews from West Hampstead and Battersea fire stations attended the scene.
