The A2070 Bad Munstereifel Road has been partially blocked following a three-vehicle collision near the Truck Stop roundabout at The Boulevard, just moments after the road was reopened from a separate fatal crash that kept it shut overnight for 12 hours.
Emergency services were called to the scene this morning, where the northbound and southbound carriageways are affected. The incident has led to slow-moving traffic in both directions.
The road had only just reopened following an earlier fatal collision, which had closed the route from late Tuesday evening through to early Wednesday morning while collision investigators worked at the scene.
It is understood that no life-threatening injuries have been reported in the latest crash, though police and recovery teams remain on site.
Motorists are being advised to expect delays and possible diversions while the scene is cleared.
