Detectives investigating the murder of Loeike Guei in Mitcham have made further arrests.

A 31-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday, 29 September on suspicion of murder; following an interview he has been released with no further action.

A 30-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday, 30 September on suspicion of murder and perverting the course of justice – he remains in custody at a west London police station.

The investigation was launched after the body of Loeike, aged 23 from Thornton Heath, was found on Commonside East, Mitcham on Thursday, 17 September.

This investigation is led by homicide detectives from Specialist Crime. Two men have previously been charged and appeared in court with Loeike’s murder.
