Police Appeal for Witnesses After Serious Crash on A338 Near Collingbourne Ducis

 

Wiltshire Police have launched an urgent appeal for witnesses and dash cam footage following a serious collision on the A338 between Collingbourne Ducis and Tidworth.

The crash occurred at around 8.40pm on Tuesday, April 30, just south of Collingbourne Ducis. A yellow Skoda Fabia, travelling northbound, collided with a white Volkswagen Scirocco travelling southbound on the opposite side of the road.

Both drivers – a man in his 20s and another in his 30s – sustained serious injuries. Fortunately, their injuries are not believed to be life-changing.

Police Investigating A338 Collision

Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash are ongoing.

Officers are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the crash or captured dash cam footage showing either vehicle prior to the collision.

A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said:

“We are asking anyone who saw the collision or who may have relevant footage to please get in touch as soon as possible. Even a small detail could be crucial to our investigation.”
