Two Men Charged with Rape and Other Offences in Newbury

Following an extensive investigation by Thames Valley Police, two men have been charged in connection with a series of serious offences. Adam Hastings, 28, of Kington St. Michael, Chippenham, faces multiple charges, including four counts of rape, three counts of sexual assault, and two counts of sexual activity with a child.

Reece Upton, 28, of Reservoir Road, Gloucester, is charged with one count each of rape, sexual assault, and engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child.

The alleged incidents occurred in Newbury between April 21 and June 13. Both Hastings and Upton appeared before Oxford Magistrates court on Wednesday morning, where they were remanded to appear at Oxford Crown Court on July 26.
