Two Men Charged After Cash and Drugs Seized in Chippenham

Wiltshire Police have charged two men following the discovery of drugs and cash at a property in Chippenham earlier this week.

The operation took place on Tuesday, 14 January, resulting in the arrest of multiple suspects.

Saimir Morina, 45, of London Road, Chippenham, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug and acquiring, using, or possessing criminal property.

Petrit Zela, 54, of Ryan Avenue, Chippenham, faces charges of acquiring, using, or possessing criminal property.

Both men have been remanded into custody and are scheduled to appear at Swindon Magistrates’ Court today, 16 January 2025.

A 19-year-old man who was also arrested during the operation has since been released with no further action.

Wiltshire Police continue to encourage anyone with information about drug-related activity to come forward, as efforts to tackle the issue across the county remain ongoing.
