Authorities in Bromborough have launched an urgent appeal for witnesses following a heart-wrenching road traffic collision on Sunday evening, September 10. The incident, which occurred around 19.10/BST  involved a tragic collision between a motorbike and a Citroen C3 Aircross car, leaving a 35-year-old motorcyclist fatally injured.

The collision unfolded when the motorbike and the Citroen C3 Aircross car converged at the junction of Hesketh Way and New Chester Road. Reports of the incident prompted a swift response from Merseyside Police, alongside the North West Ambulance Service and an air ambulance helicopter.

Despite the valiant efforts of paramedics on the scene, the 35-year-old motorcyclist succumbed to the severe injuries sustained in the collision, marking a profound tragedy that has left a community in mourning.

In the wake of this heartrending event, investigators have commenced witness and CCTV inquiries to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the collision. Chief Inspector Bobby Woodhall, overseeing the investigation, remarked, “An investigation is ongoing after a motorcyclist sadly died following a collision on New Chester Road earlier this evening.”
