Suspected Swindon Drug Dealer Charged with Offences in Tonbridge

A suspected cocaine dealer from Swindon has been charged after police discovered suspected drugs and cash during a stop in Tonbridge.

Police Operation and Arrest

At around 5:30 pm on Monday, 3 February 2025, proactive Kent Police patrols identified a suspicious vehicle in Barden Road. Officers approached the car when it came to a natural stop in Old London Road.

A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of 19 packets of white powder, suspected to be cocaine, along with a quantity of cash.

Charges and Court Appearance

The driver, 24-year-old Jurgen Topuzi, of North Street, Swindon, was later charged with:

  • Possession with intent to supply cocaine
  • Driving without a licence
  • Driving without insurance

He appeared before Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 5 February, where he was remanded in custody.

Next Steps

Topuzi is scheduled to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on 3 March 2025, where he will face further legal proceedings.

Police have urged anyone with information about drug-related crime in the area to come forward by contacting Kent Police on 101 or reporting anonymously via Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
