Man Charged in Connection with Robbery at Westbury Store

Police in Wiltshire have charged a 28-year-old man in connection with a recent robbery that occurred at the One Stop store in Queens Square, Westbury, on Friday, December 22nd. During the incident, store staff were allegedly threatened with a knife.

The accused, identified as Paul Mahy of Sycamore Grove, Westbury, faces charges of possession of a blade in a public place and robbery.

Following his arrest, Paul Mahy has been remanded in custody. He is scheduled to appear before Swindon Magistrates Court on Boxing Day, where the charges against him will be formally presented.

The charges stem from the seriousness of the alleged crimes committed during the robbery.
