Man Atacked in Hartlepool: Police Appeal for Information – UKNIP

Detectives in Hartlepool are seeking the public’s assistance as they investigate a reported assault that occurred in the early hours of Saturday, May 4, 2024.

At approximately 12.40am police received a call from ambulance service colleagues who reported that members of the public had discovered an injured man near the library on York Road. The man, aged 32, had sustained multiple facial and head injuries, leading authorities to believe he was the victim of an assault.

Emergency services promptly transported the injured man to James Cook University Hospital for medical attention. His condition remains under close observation.

Detective Inspector Sarah Thompson, leading the investigation, stated, “We are appealing to anyone who was in the York Road area late last night or in the early hours of this morning to come forward. Your information could be crucial in helping us piece together what happened.”
