Knife-Point Robbery at East Grinstead Store

Sussex Police are appealing for public assistance in identifying a man connected to a knife-point robbery at East Grinstead Food and Wine on London Road. The incident occurred shortly before 9am on Saturday, 27 July.

The suspect entered the store and threatened the shopkeeper with a knife, demanding goods. He left with a small quantity of tobacco and alcohol. While the shopkeeper was understandably shaken by the ordeal, they were not physically harmed.

Police have released an image of the man they wish to speak to, believing he may have crucial information that could aid their investigation.

Sussex Police urge anyone who recognises the man or has any information about the robbery to come forward. Witnesses or those with details can contact police online or by calling 101, quoting serial 380 of 27/07.
