CCTV Image Released After Girl Targeted in Gillingham Indecent Exposure Incident

Kent Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to identify in connection with an indecent exposure incident that occurred in Gillingham last month.

The incident took place on the evening of Tuesday, 20 May 2025, near Great Lines Heritage Park. At around 7:00pm, a girl walking along Brompton Road, heading toward the High Street, noticed a man close behind her.

After entering an alleyway opposite Marlborough Road, she was approached from behind by the same man, who is then reported to have exposed himself. The man fled the scene on foot after a bystander intervened.

Investigation Underway

Police were called, and initial enquiries, including speaking to witnesses and reviewing local CCTV, were completed. Investigators are now appealing to the public for help in identifying the man in the released image.

A spokesperson for Kent Police said:
“We believe the man pictured may have important information that could assist our enquiries. We urge anyone who recognises him, or has any information, to come forward.”
