London experienced a harrowing three days as four teenagers were stabbed in separate incidents across the city. These incidents, occurring between May 18 and 20 in Thamesmead, Eltham, West Dulwich, and Streatham, highlight a concerning wave of youth violence.

Boy, 16, in Hospital After Stabbing in West Dulwich

A 16-year-old boy was hospitalized following a stabbing in West Dulwich. Police officers were called to Elmworth Grove at around 10:50pm on May 19 in response to reports of an assault. London Ambulance Service crews also attended the scene and found the boy with a stab wound. He was taken to the hospital, where his injuries were assessed as non-life-threatening. No arrests have been made, and police inquiries are ongoing.

Teenage Boy Taken to Hospital After Stabbing in Thamesmead

Another teenage boy was injured during a fight between a group in Thamesmead. The incident occurred in Central Way near Joyce Dawson Way at approximately 4pm on May 20. Officers and London Ambulance Service crews responded to the scene, and the boy was transported to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening or life-changing. Two teenage boys have been arrested in connection with the incident.

Teenager in Hospital After Stabbing in Eltham

In Eltham, a teenager was taken to the hospital following a stabbing on Grove Park Road just after 10pm on May 18. An ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car, and an incident response officer attended to the teen at the scene before transporting them to the hospital. The condition of the teenager is currently unknown.

Teenager in Hospital After Stabbing at Park in Streatham

A teenager was seriously injured in a stabbing at Streatham Common Playground shortly after 8pm on May 18. Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended the scene, and the teen was taken to the hospital in a life-threatening condition. A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police later confirmed that the teen’s condition is now stable. One man was arrested at the scene and has since been bailed while further inquiries are carried out.

Community Response and Police Investigation

The Metropolitan Police have released statements regarding each incident, emphasizing the importance of public assistance in their investigations. High-visibility patrols have been increased in the affected areas to provide community reassurance and to deter further incidents.
