Three crooks slammed with hefty jail time after huge Class A drug bust in Wiltshire.

Drug Dealers Nabbed After Community Tip-Off

Police swooped on Wiltshire’s drug scene after locals tipped them off. The Serious Crime Organised Unit (SOCU) arrested 29-year-old Ayo Awoyera from Pinehurst, 46-year-old Kenneth Brown from Raleigh Avenue, and 29-year-old Dejuan Stewart-Richards from Hackney.

The trio were caught peddling heroin and crack cocaine. Their combined sentences total a whopping 13 years behind bars.

The operation kicked off on March 5 when officers swooped on Awoyera at Middleton Close. Tied to another stash at Gresham Close, raids uncovered heroin and crack locked in a safe. The key? Found on Awoyera himself.

Cash, Cars and Cross-County Drug Links Revealed

Brown was caught red-handed at the Gresham Close address with Class A drugs. A mobile phone seized from him revealed deep connections in the drug ring.

Meanwhile, cops tracked Awoyera moving goods from his Kia Rio to a BMW driven by Stewart-Richards, who’d travelled down from London that morning. When arrested, Stewart-Richards was caught with £4,000 in cash – believed to be payment from Awoyera.

Investigations confirmed a clear drug supply link between London and Swindon, with the trio working tight together.

Hard-Hitting Sentences Land on Drug Dealers

  • Ayo Awoyera: Pleaded guilty; sentenced to 5 years 6 months on September 12.
  • Dejuan Stewart-Richards: Found guilty at trial; jailed for 27 months on September 12.
  • Kenneth Brown: Pleaded guilty; sentenced to 5 years 6 months on October 14.

Cop Vows to Keep Up the Clampdown

DC Jared Yalden, SOCU, said: “We know the significant impact Class A drugs have on society, which is why we proactively target dealers in our communities. Besides health damage to users, the drugs spark violence and crime like shoplifting. We will keep going after the likes of Awoyera, Brown and Stewart-Richards to make Wiltshire safer for everyone.”
