The Incident

On November 8, police were alerted after cameras on the property recorded the theft in progress. The footage, reported by a third party, helped officers identify and arrest Pike shortly after the incident.

Pike admitted to stealing lead worth £600, taken from the property, during police questioning.

Court Sentencing

Salisbury Magistrates’ Court handed Pike a three-month prison sentence, which has been suspended for 12 months. He was also ordered to pay:

  • £85 in Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) costs
  • A £154 victim surcharge
