Witness Appeal Following Burglary in Trowbridge

Wiltshire Police are urgently seeking witnesses to come forward following a hit-and-run collision in Quidhampton near Salisbury. The incident occurred at approximately 12:30 pm yesterday, June 3rd, when a vehicle collided with a pedal cyclist on Lower Road in Quidhampton before fleeing the scene at high speed.

The cyclist sustained leg injuries as a result of the collision and received immediate medical attention from paramedics who attended the scene. However, the driver of the vehicle failed to stop and render assistance, leaving the injured cyclist behind.

Authorities are appealing to anyone who may have been travelling in the area of Lower Road, Quidhampton, between 12:15 pm and 12:30 pm on the day of the incident to come forward with any information they may have. In particular, police are keen to hear from individuals who possess dashcam footage that could assist in identifying the vehicle involved.

Of particular interest to investigators is a green Mazda MX-5 believed to have been involved in the collision. Police believe the vehicle may have fled the scene in the direction of Salisbury following the incident.
