A Man Has Been Charged In Connection With A Dog Attack

Police have charged a man in connection with a dog attack on a woman in Salisbury on Saturday, January 14.

John-Paul Hibbell, 43, of no fixed abode in Salisbury, has been charged with section 18 grievous bodily harm and being the owner of a dangerously out-of-control dog in Castle Street.

Mr Hibbell has been released on bail and is scheduled to appear in Salisbury Crown Court on February 10.

The victim, a woman in her 30s, was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor but serious injuries.

The dog has been placed in suitable care.
