Police have launched an urgent appeal to locate a missing 13-year-old girl who was last seen on Wednesday night in South Hylton, near Sunderland.
Emily Rhodes was last spotted at around 9pm on May 28, and concerns for her welfare are growing as she remains unaccounted for more than 24 hours later.
Known to Visit Newcastle City Centre
Northumbria Police say Emily is known to frequent Newcastle city centre, and it’s believed she may be using public transport to travel across the region.
“Officers and Emily’s family are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare,” the force said in a series of social media updates early Thursday morning.
