Hit-and-Run Horror: Jaroslaw Jadwidzic, 46, Killed in Southall Crash
Jaroslaw Jadwidzic, 46, was killed in a shocking hit-and-run that has left his family desperate for answers two years on. The fatal accident happened after a black Mercedes sped through a bus stop in Southall, crashing into a parked van which then struck Jaroslaw.
How the Tragedy Unfolded
- The black Mercedes overtook a bus on Uxbridge Road near Greenford Road junction.
- It smashed into a parked van at the Iron Bridge bus stop.
- The crash forced the van into Jaroslaw, who was working nearby around 5:50am on October 15, 2023.
Jaroslaw was rushed to hospital with critical injuries but sadly died nine days later. Shockingly, both the Mercedes driver and a passenger fled the scene. They remain at large.
Widow’s Heartbreaking Plea for Justice
“The death of Jaroslaw has had a huge impact on my life because I lost one of the most important people to me,” said widow Mariola Jadwidzic. “What I feel every day is indescribable. I want justice for what happened and for those responsible to admit what they have done. If you know or saw anything, please come forward and tell the police.”
Police Renew Urgent Call for Witnesses
Detective Sergeant Nush Puvitharan from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit appealed to the public:
“Our thoughts are with Jaroslaw’s loved ones who are still waiting for answers. We’ve been investigating this case for two years, trying to piece together what happened. We know people were near the scene but haven’t spoken to us yet. Any detail, no matter how small, could make all the difference.”
