A car was deliberately set on fire in Leonard Avenue, england/england/swanscombe/”>swanscombe/”>Swanscombe, on Saturday afternoon. Flames broke out around 2pm, sparking a swift response from kent-england/”>kent/”>Kent Fire and Rescue Service.
Two Fire Engines Race to Scene
- Firefighters arrived with two engines, fully geared with breathing apparatus.
- They doused the fire using a compressed air foam system (CAFs), bringing the blaze under control quickly.
- The fire caused no injuries.

Kent Police are working alongside fire crews as the fire is suspected to have been started on purpose. No suspects have yet been named.
