On the morning of Tuesday 1 March 2022, a Police Community Support Officer went to an address in Milton Street after receiving reports of suspicious noises from inside.
A patrol also attended the scene and two men were detained outside the premises. The officers also seized a number of ornaments, jewellery and other items.
Rafal Drzewiecki and Krzystof Kancinski, both of no fixed address, were later charged with burglary.
Mr Drzewiecki, aged 37 and Mr Kancinski, aged 47 were both remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 2 March.
