Two Charged in Murder of Dean Evans
Detectives have slapped murder charges on two men over the death of 31-year-old Dean Evans. Liam Darvill, 20, and Thomas David Harris, 22, both from Basingstoke, face the grave accusation.
Courts Date Set
The pair will appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on Monday, April 11. Meanwhile, a 22-year-old man previously arrested on suspicion of murder has been released on bail. He must return to police on June 13 as investigations continue.
Fatal Attack on Benham Road
Dean Evans was found seriously injured lying in the road outside a property on Benham Road, Basingstoke, just after 5.30am on Friday, April 8 following reports of an assault.
South Central Ambulance rushed him to hospital, but tragically, he died shortly after arrival. Police continue to piece together what led to this deadly incident.
