Robbery investigators have charged a man with two offences following a report cash was stolen from a travel agent in Chatham

 

 

Robbery investigators have charged a man with two offences following a report cash was stolen from a travel agent in Chatham. 

 

Daryl Cook was arrested by Kent Police officers on Wednesday 26 May 2020 following an investigation into the High Street robbery.

 

The alleged offence took place on Wednesday 12 February and several victims reported being threatened with a firearm during the incident. 

 

Detectives from the Chief Constable’s Crime Squad have since charged Mr Cook with robbery and possessing a firearm to commit an indictable offence. 

 

The 36-year-old, of Bryant Street, Chatham, has been remanded in custody to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 27 May.

 

As part of enquiries, officers have also seized a BB gun.
