Man charged with murder of Meshach Williams

Detectives investigating the murder of 21-year-old Meshach Williams, on High Street, Harlesden, NW10 on 23 April 2019 have charged a man. Dominic Calder, 19 of Redmead Road, Hayes, Middlesex was arrested in connection with the investigation on Tuesday, 14 May 2019 and was subsequently charged on Wednesday, 15 May with murder, possession of an offensive weapon and possession of cannabis. Calder is remanded in custody to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 15 May 2019. Police were called by the London Ambulance Service (LAS) at 9.07pm on Tuesday, 23 April to High Street, NW10, following reports of a stabbing. Officers attended and a man was found suffering from stab wounds. He was taken to hospital by LAS where he was pronounced dead at 02:47hrs on Wednesday, 24 April. The deceased was formally identified as 21-year-old Meshach Lee Mitchell Williams. Mr William’s next of kin were notified. A post-mortem examination found the cause of death to be a stab wound.
