A man and woman from Beeston, Leeds, have been locked up for running a Class A drug ring in their local area.
£19,000 Worth of Deadly Drugs Seized
In July, the Leeds District Precision Team raided Anthony Staten’s home on Malvern Road. Officers uncovered a huge stash of Class A drugs worth over £19,000.
The haul included more than 34 grams of Diamorphine mixed with Nitizines — a super-potent substance up to 500 times stronger than heroin.
Tough Sentences for Drug Dealers
Anthony Staten, 33, was sentenced with eight years and nine months in prison for possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin. He was also convicted for involvement in supplying Class A drugs.
Natasha Lewis, 38, who also lived on Malvern Road, got a four-year sentence for her role in the drug operation.
