A suspected burglar has been charged with a Snodland break-in.

On 16 September 2020 a burglary was reported in Brook Street where cash, jewellery and a motorcycle were stolen.

Two cycles were also taken from the premises that were later recovered from a separate Snodland address.

On Tuesday 6 October, Wilfred Grant, of no fixed address, was arrested and later charged with burglary and theft. He was also charged with one count of interfering with a Mercedes 220 in Rochester on 23 July 2020.

The 30-year-old appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court the following day. He was remanded to a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on 4 November.
