Police were called to Ballards Lane, N12 at 4.05am on Friday, 27 May. Officers attended with the London Ambulance Service and found a critically injured man. Despite the efforts of emergency services, he died at the scene.

The man has been identified as 55-year-old Nicholas Sutin. A post-mortem examination carried out at Northwick Park Hospital Mortuary on 28 May gave the cause of death as head injuries and a stab wound to the neck.

Jermaine Myers, 36, of Woodhouse Road, N12 was arrested on the evening of Saturday, 28 May. He was charged the following day with the murder of Nicholas Sutin. He was also charged with possession of an offensive weapon and possession of a pointed/bladed article.

Myers will appear in custody at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 30 May.
