Woman Taken to Hospital After Being Hit by Van in Petts Wood

A woman has been taken to the hospital after being struck by a van in Petts Wood this afternoon. Emergency services were called to Station Square at 2.23 pm on Monday, September 23, following reports of a collision involving a van and a pedestrian.

Firefighters from Orpington and Croydon, along with the London Ambulance Service, quickly responded to the incident. The London Fire Brigade confirmed that crews were mobilised to the scene and left by 2.48 pm, after ensuring the area was safe.

A spokesperson for the London Fire Brigade said, “Firefighters were mobilised to an incident on Station Square in Petts Wood. One van was in collision with a pedestrian. An adult woman was taken to the hospital by the London Ambulance Service.”

Two fire engines and one Fire Rescue Unit from Orpington and Croydon fire stations attended the scene.
