A woman has been rushed to a major trauma centre after a serious collision in Greenford, West London, where a car crashed into a pedestrian and then into a garden wall. The incident took place on Ruislip Road, Ealing, on the afternoon of Monday, September 16.
London Ambulance Service (LAS) responded to reports of a road traffic collision at 2.07 pm, dispatching an ambulance crew to the scene. The female pedestrian was treated for her injuries and immediately transferred to a major trauma centre for further care.
The Metropolitan Police and the London Fire Brigade were also in attendance. Two fire engines from Southall Fire Station arrived shortly after the collision to assist the ambulance service and provide emergency care.
A spokesperson for the London Fire Brigade stated: “We were called at 2.05 pm to reports of a road traffic collision on Ruislip Road in Greenford. A vehicle had collided with a pedestrian and a wall. Firefighters assisted London Ambulance Service by providing immediate emergency care at the scene.
At this time, the extent of the woman’s injuries has not been disclosed, and the cause of the crash is yet to be determined.
