A woman has been found dead inside a car on Sandcliff Road, a quiet residential street in Erith. The tragic discovery was made shortly before 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, 10 November.
Emergency services, including officers from the Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service crews, responded to the scene near Church Road. Despite their efforts, the woman was pronounced dead shortly after their arrival.
According to the Metropolitan Police, the woman’s death is not being treated as suspicious, and there is no indication of foul play. Authorities are currently working to confirm her identity and notify her family.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police stated: “Police were called by LAS at 10:24 hrs on Sunday, 10 November, to the sudden death of a woman in a car in Erith.”
