A woman has tragically passed away following a medical emergency at an Asda supermarket in Ashford, Kent.
Emergency services, including ambulances and police, were called to the scene on Friday, 17 January, at around 6pm.
The woman was rushed to William Harvey Hospital in a critical condition but sadly later died.
A spokesperson for South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) said:
“Crews assessed and treated the patient before conveying them to William Harvey Hospital in a serious condition.

Since the incident, flowers have been laid outside the supermarket, and heartfelt tributes have been shared online.
