Woman dies after Romsey House blaze

A woman has died in a house fire in Romsey. Firefighters were called to Jacobs Close at just before 3am on Monday morning. A man was rescued by crews from an upstairs bedroom and was taken to hospital. His condition is unknown. Around 20 firefighters from Three for stations attended the incident. A joint investigation with both Hampshire fire and Hampshire Constabulary has been launched into the cause of the blaze. The property remains sealed off. More to follow.
