Connie Parsons, 32, has been slapped with a five-year Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) banning her from entering the entire Solihull borough after a string of shoplifting offences.
Crackdown on Persistent Shop Theft
The notorious shoplifting offender was caught stealing from multiple shops across the Solihull area. Thanks to the Shirley neighbourhood policing team’s tough work, a court has issued the CBO, effective from 6 October.
“We know the disruption and harm caused by persistent shop thefts to businesses in the Solihull borough,” police said. They added that several offenders have recently faced jail for these crimes and for breaching similar orders.
Harsh Penalties for Rule Breakers
The CBO bans Parsons completely from the borough. If she breaches the order, she faces immediate arrest and could be jailed.
“CBOs allow our officers to impose conditions on the whereabouts of known offenders, including banning them from certain areas where they commit crimes and anti-social behaviour,” police explained.
This crackdown sends a clear message: if you target Solihull businesses, the law will nail you.
