Woman Blinded after attacked with Acid in Southampton

Southampton, Hampshire showing Police scene and clear up operation after a female sustained an acid attack. The Woman had the liquid thrown at her whilst on a night out.The liquid was  thrown into her face. Police cordoned off a 10 meter  area near Turtle Bay in Southampton. The attack happen  on Friday  at  around 9PM. The woman suffered severe burns when an offender  threw an acid-like liquid in her face in the attack. https:///youtu.be/3RkxIURiHNo   An Ambulance has taken the woman to the Southampton General Hospital where she was being treated for serious burns to face, eyes and hands. She is critical but expected to survive. Detectives along with  scene of crime officers have  spent most of the evening photographing the scene and taking statements from shocked clubbers and party goers who where in the area a the time. A fire crew from Hampshire Fire and rescue were called in to wash away the scene.
