KNIFE ATTACK Woman Arrested After Late-Night Stabbing in Swindon Town Centre

A woman has been arrested following a knife attack outside Barclays on Regent Street, Swindon. The shocking incident unfolded just before midnight on Thursday, 4 December.

Man Stabbed in the Leg

Emergency crews rushed to the scene at around 11.35pm after reports of a stabbing. Paramedics treated a man in his 30s for a leg injury before rushing him to hospital. Thankfully, his wound is not believed to be life-threatening.

Suspect Held on Serious Charges

A 36-year-old woman was promptly arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent. She remains in custody as police continue their investigation.

Locals reported seeing an ambulance and several police cars at the scene. Officers cordoned off the area briefly before reopening it.

Tensions Rise After Another Stabbing

This arrest comes just 24 hours after a serious stabbing on Penhill, adding to growing concerns about knife crime in the town.
