Witnesses Urged to Come Forward After Violent Attack on Stockton High Street

Cleveland Police are appealing for witnesses following a disturbing incident on Stockton High Street, near Wellington Square, on the evening of Sunday, January 7. At approximately 5.50pm, a 36-year-old man fell victim to a violent attack by two masked assailants.

The attackers, both wearing masks, are described as one wearing a blue top and the other a black top. During the assault, the victim sustained several slash injuries to his face, causing serious harm. Emergency services responded to the scene, transporting the injured man to the University Hospital of North Tees, where he is currently undergoing treatment.

Cleveland Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward. Witnesses can contact them at 101, quoting reference number 003942.
