Witnesses are sought by police investigating a suspicious fire near Deal – UKNIP

Kent Police was contacted by Kent Fire and Rescue Service shortly after 6pm on Sunday 29 October 2023 following a fire at a stables in The Street, Worth.

The fire was extinguished with no injuries reported and investigators are treating the incident as suspicious.

A 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of arson in relation to the incident and taken into custody.

Anyone with information, dashcam or CCTV footage from the A258 Deal Road, Coventon Lane or The Street in Worth between 4.30pm and 8.30pm on Sunday 29 October is urged to contact officers.
