Waterleak closes Ryde High Street
Due to a water leak on Ryde High Street, Bus services routes 4 and 9 cannot serve Cross Street and John Street bus stops. Routes outbound will be diverted via George Street, Park Road, Bennet Street, St Johns Hill to West Street then services will resume normal routes. Emergency works are being carried out by contractors on behalf of Southern Water. The closure and diversion are likely to remain in place for sometime whilst repairs are carried out. Some surrounding homes water supply may be effected or experience low water pressure. Engineers are carrying out rezone work.
