Warwick University Conservatives Association Condemned for Singing Nazi Song

A video has surfaced showing members of the Warwick University Conservatives Association singing a Nazi marching song during a recent chairman’s dinner. The song in question, “Erika,” was used by the SS and Nazi armed forces.

The Union of Jewish Students swiftly condemned this display of support for Nazism, emphasising that such glorification has no place in our society, particularly within a university campus. The incident has sparked outrage, prompting calls for action from both the University of Warwick and the Conservative Party.

A spokesperson for Warwick University expressed deep concern, labelling the behaviour as reprehensible. The university is actively reviewing the material and has engaged with the Student’s Union. Additionally, they have requested a meeting with the Jewish Society (JSOC) to address the situation.
