Wallet stolen during burglary in Dover

Detectives investigating a burglary in Dover in which a wallet was stolen, are appealing for witnesses to come forward. It was reported that the burglary took place at a home in Colton Crescent between 1.15am and 1.40am on Monday 13 May 2019. The victim reported they were woken up by their dog barking, and found the back door open. A wallet and a purse, both containing a quantity of cash, were stolen along with two tobacco pouches. Officers investigating the burglary would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and might have seen or heard anything which could help their enquiries. People are also asked to get in contact if they have CCTV or dashcam footage which was recording in the area and might have captured something of use to the investigation.
