Shane Doyle, 44, has been locked up for nearly six years after unleashing a brutal attack at a Dartford house party celebrating his release from prison.
Chaos Erupts at Party
The trouble started on 8 February 2025 at a gathering on Lunedale Road. Doyle, recently freed, assaulted three guests—two women and a man—turning the night violent. He punched a male guest in the chest, forcing him to flee, then launched a savage assault on the women.
One woman was shoved down the stairs after being grabbed by the throat, then kicked and punched multiple times. She suffered facial cuts, a fractured hand, and a dislocated knee. The second woman was punched repeatedly in the head and chest and had her phone snatched as she tried to call for help. She also sustained internal bruising while protecting the first victim.
Attack on Police and Knife Found
Kent Police arrived around 8.30pm to a scene of chaos. Doyle spit at and kicked officers as they tried to arrest him. He further assaulted two officers en route to custody. A knife was found in his pocket during a search.
Justice Served
Doyle, who has no fixed address, denied the charges but was convicted after trial. On 3 October 2025, Maidstone Crown Court sentenced him to five years and 11 months behind bars. A restraining order was also put in place to protect the victims.
“This was a brutal and sustained attack that left multiple victims physically and emotionally traumatised,” said Detective Constable Julia Dell. “Doyle showed a complete disregard for the safety of others, including our officers who responded to protect those in danger. His conviction and sentence reflect the seriousness of his actions, and we hope it brings some measure of justice and reassurance to the victims.”
