Emergency at Victoria Station: Passenger Trapped Between Train and Platform

Emergency services have responded to a serious incident at Victoria Underground Station, where a passenger became trapped between a train and the platform on the eastbound District Line.

The incident occurred at the busy central London interchange at Terminus Place, , shortly after 4:00pm. The platform was immediately closed as London Fire Brigade, British Transport Police, and TfL response units rushed to the scene.

Emergency Response Underway

Firefighters and paramedics are on-site working to free the trapped individual. The extent of the injuries remains unknown at this stage.

A TfL spokesperson is expected to issue a statement shortly. The station remains partially operational, with severe delays reported on the District and Circle lines passing through Victoria.

Commuter Disruption

Passengers are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes. Severe crowding and travel disruption are likely as the evening peak approaches.
