Sussex Police have launched an urgent appeal to locate Ellie, a 12-year-old girl who has been reported missing from Burgess Hill, West Sussex.

Ellie was last seen in 2025 at Burgess Hill Railway Station, sparking immediate concern for her welfare.
She is described as 5’8″ tall, of slim build, with dark brown hair worn in a ponytail.

At the time of her disappearance, Ellie was wearing a black hoodie, black trousers, black trainers, and was carrying a black rucksack.

Authorities believe Ellie may have links to Crawley and are urging anyone who may have seen her or who has any information about her whereabouts to contact Sussex Police immediately by calling 101, quoting reference number 1474 of 01/05.

Members of the public are asked to report any sightings without delay to help ensure Ellie’s safe return.
